Apples & Greens Smoothie

"This homemade Jamba Juice Apple N’ Greens Smoothie recipe uses whole fruit to form a thick green smoothie full of nutrients. Sweet & Electric. Don't forget to add a scoop of sea moss gel in there to complete the nutritional value!


Yields: 6 pancakes| Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 15 mins | Total Time: 3o mins


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cups apple juice

  • 1/2 cup pear juice

  • 1 cups kale, frozen

  • 1/2 cup mango, chopped frozen

  • 1/2 cup peach, chopped and frozen

  • 1/2 cup banana, chopped and frozen

  • 1/2 cup strawberries, chopped and frozen

  • 1 tbsp sea moss gel* **

Preparation:

  1. Into a blender add the apple juice, pear juice, kale, mango, peach, strawberries and banana.

  2. Blend on high until the smoothie is thick and smooth.

  3. Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve, this recipe can be made in bulk ahead of time then enjoyed over a few days.

 

Notes:

  • Add more or less juice to make your smoothie as thick or thin as your like!

  • The secret to this smoothie recipe is the freezing of the fruits and vegetables which helps to chill and thicken the drink into a copycat version of the original Jamba Juice recipe.
