Homemade Electric Strawberry-Raspberry Jam

Who knew making your own jam was so easy. Although you can make jam from almost any fruit you like, try our easy strawberry and raspberry jam recipe. Who won't be able to get enough of it

Yields: 1 large jar or 2 medium jars | Prep Time: 5 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins | Chill Time: 1 hr|

Total Time: 1 hr. 15 mins


Ingredients:

  • 1 16 oz carton organic strawberries, rinsed

  • 2 6 oz carton organic raspberries, rinsed

  • 1 key lime juice

  • 1/4 cup agave

  • 2 tbsp sea moss gel* **

Preparation:

  1. Cut the green tops off of strawberries and chop in half.

  2. Add prepped strawberries and raspberries to a large pot. Over medium heat, render fruit down so that the fruit releases its juices and become soft. Let simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

  3. Pour fruit mixture into blender. Add lime, agave, and sea moss gel* and blend on low for 30 seconds.

  4. Return mixture to pot and simmer on low for another 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes (jam will thicken as it cools).

  5. Pour into a jar (or two) and refrigerate until completely. Enjoy!


 

Notes:
