Alkaline Vegan Burritos

Loaded with Smoked Chickpea, Spicy Wild Rice, Guacamole, wild Rocket, with a Sweet Mango Tahini dressing. One of the best burritos I have every eaten, hands down!

Yields: 1-2 servings | Prep Time: 5 mins | Cook Time: 25 | Total Time: 30 mins


Mango Tahini dressing

  • 1 fresh ripe Mango

  • 1 tbsp Tahini butter

  • 1 tsp fresh Ginger

  • 1 tsp Sea Salt

  • 1 key lime Juice

  • 1 tsp Onion powder

  • 1 tsp cayenne Pepper

  1. For Mango Tahini Dressing, Through all ingredients into a blender and bend until smooth. Taste and add adjust seasonings to your liking.

  2. Prepare Chickpea Flour Tortillas, Mexican Wild Rice , Guacamole, and crunchy chickpeas.

  3. Assembly: take one tortilla and fill it with the rice, chickpeas, wild rocket (or your choice of lettuce), guacamole, and Mango tahini dressing. Roll into a burrito and enjoy.

  4. Serve with a side of Mexican wild rice and chickpea "refried" beans if your desire!



  • If using our Chickpea Flour Tortilla recipe, make your tortilla size larger for a bigger wrap size.

  • You can also use the BBO chickpea recipe but sauté them instead of baking them for a that soft bean texture as opposed to the crunchy.
