Ginger Limeade

Yields: 4 cups

Ingredients:
¼ cup Agave Nectar
4 cups Spring water, divided
1 tablespoon ginger juice (about one 3-inch piece of ginger) (see notes)
1 cup lime juice (from about 10 limes) (see notes)
¼ cup fresh basil leaves*

Preparation:
Heat agave and 1 cup of water in a small pan until the agave dissolves completely. Set aside to cool.
Juice the ginger and limes into a large pitcher. Mix in the remaining 3 cups of water. Stir in the cooled agave water and the fresh basil leaves (if using). Refrigerate until chilled.
Notes & Tips
Grating the ginger with a fine toothed grater is the best way to get the ginger pulp and juice.
This recipe tastes just as good as a pure limeade without the ginger. Either way you'll absolutely crave more of it
You can also buy a bottle of pure lime juice if your don't want to squeeze the limes by hand. However, read the ingredients before purchasing to make sure there are no additives or preservatives.
