  • 4 cups Spring water, divided

  • 1 cup lime juice (from about 10 limes) (see notes)

  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves*

* optional

**see app for approved foods & recipes

Preparation:

  1. Heat agave and 1 cup of water in a small pan until the agave dissolves completely. Set aside to cool.

  2. Juice the ginger and limes into a large pitcher. Mix in the remaining 3 cups of water. Stir in the cooled agave water and the fresh basil leaves (if using). Refrigerate until chilled.

Notes & Tips

  • Grating the ginger with a fine toothed grater is the best way to get the ginger pulp and juice.

  • This recipe tastes just as good as a pure limeade without the ginger. Either way you'll absolutely crave more of it

  • You can also buy a bottle of pure lime juice if your don't want to squeeze the limes by hand. However, read the ingredients before purchasing to make sure there are no additives or preservatives.
