Description:

This recipe is so quick and easy and absolutely addicting. And the health benefits of sesame seeds (what tahini is made out of) are tremendous.

Ingredients:

  • 1 jar or tub raw Tahini Butter (unsweetened, unsalted) (see notes)

  • 2 tbsp. agave nectar

  • 1-2 tsp pure sea salt

* optional

**see app for approved foods & recipes

Preparation:

  1. Scoop out all contents from your jar of tahini into a small mixing bowl, making sure to scrape the sides of the jar as clean as possible

  2. Add in your honey and sea salt and mix until thoroughly combined.

  3. Taste. And more agave or sea salt to your liking and viola!

  4. Serve as a dip with your favorite fruit, spread on rye crackers or toast, or use to make other sauces and dressings.

WHAT IS TAHINI?

Tahini is the name used for pureed sesame seeds. In other words, as peanut butter is made out of peanuts, tahini butter is made out of sesame seeds. For alkaline-electric eaters, tahini butter is our substitute for non-electric not nut butters like peanut butter or almond butter.

Tahini is very versatile and can be use to make dressings, thicken soups, use as a dip, or in sauces, and so much more. Just make sure to buy it unsweetened and unsalted when purchasing in store. Most companies use sugar cane or honey to sweeten, which are not electric. So just buy it raw and add flavor to it using the recipe above.
